UPDATE August 18,  2007    The summer has been a lot of fun, but has gone by quickly!  It amazes me sometimes how fast the time goes by!  Today, my parents and I went out fishing with a professional fishing guide that we met through our business.
We had a lot of fun, both mom and I caught a fish.  Even if we weren't to have caught any fish, it would have been great.
The man who took us, Jack Glass - Pro-Fisherman and Guided Services, sure did know how to fish!  He took us to all the good spots.  He even had all different types of fishing poles and fishing rods!  It was truly a learning experience, but most of all it was a time that I will never forget!  I had such a great time!

UPDATE May 2007    Well I just returned from another cruise with Richard Simmons.  This year we went to the Bahamas and the US Virgin Islands.  It was a lot of fun!

After the cruise was over, I spent another week in Miami visiting friends and fulfilling lifelong dreams!  I got to go swimming with Dolphins!  This is something that I have dreamed of doing since I was real little.  I saw with them at the Miami Sea Aquarium.  It is where they filmed the TV Show Flipper, and all of the dolphins were direct descendents of the original Flipper.

UPDATE November 23,  2006    HAPPY THANKSGIVING!  Well we all have so much to be thankful for!  This last week I have really come to realize this.
About a few weeks ago I hired a new personal trainer.  His name is Phillip.  He and all of the people who work with him, are so awesome!
Last Friday(11/17), I went in to train with Phillip and he noticed that I was real weak, and felt that my blood sugars might be high, so he asked me to test my blood sugars.  Well lets just say they were HIGH!  He immediately brought me home, we discussed the situation the whole way home.  I had become way way too lax on my control of my blood sugars.  I was taking it for granted.
Phillip helped me realize all of this, and I am so thankful for him!  I am proud to say that for the last week, my blood sugars have been under control.  Even with eating a big Thanksgiving dinner.  I am so proud of myself!
God has granted me so many things to be Thankful for, and I was taking advantage of all this!  I am so sorry Lord!  He has brought me through two brain tumors, restored my vision, given me a wonderful and supporting family - and with not taking care of my self and my blood sugars I feel I had taken advantage of the situation.  But I am changing all of this now!

UPDATE November 6,  2006    Well I just got home from spending an extended weekend (Thursday thru Sunday) at the Oregon Coast.  Yesterday was my 13 year anniversary of my Surgery.  This is date is like a second Birthday to me!  It was so nice, I got an Ocean Front room.  It was so awesome!  Several storms moved in while I was there, so the weather was nasty, but beautiful (if that makes any sense).  My room also had a kitchenette in it, so the first day I was there, I got a shuttle and went to the grocery store and bought some groceries.  This way I didn't have to spend any money on eating out!

It was nice taking time to reflect on the last 13 years.  I have so much to be thankful for!

UPDATE May 2006   I just got back from my cruise with Richard Simmons!  Every year he offers a "Cruise to Lose".  It was amazingly awesome!  Richard has indeed changed my life.  My attitude towards life, exercise and eating!  I feel so good!

UPDATE January 9,  2006    I don't know what got me interested in this, I guess its just all the excitement surrounding my weight loss.  But I have decided to go on Rickard Simmons Cruise to Loose!  We will be cruising the Western Caribbean.  I am real excited!  This will be an opportunity for myself to meet new people and just have a good time!  I will keep you informed as the time gets closer!

UPDATE January 4,  2006    Today I went to the gym and met with my trainer.  Since its the beginning of the month we took all of my measurements again.  I have lost a total of 11 pounds since the beginning of November, as well as several inches.  Keep an eye out on my progress page for my journey of weight loss!

UPDATE January 1,  2006    HAPPY NEW YEARS!  and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!  Both Christmas and New Years were great!

For Christmas, my Uncle Gene and my cousin Brittany flew up from Oklahoma and spent the holiday with us.  We had a wonderful time together!  I don't think I have laughed so hard in a long time!

Last night, for New Years Eve I went over to a friends house and ended up running into some people that I haven't seen in a long time!  It was awesome!

UPDATE December 6,  2005    Today I went in to the gym and met with my trainer.  It has been a month now since I started working with her.  And after a month I have only lost a couple of pounds, but more than that I have lost several inches around my body!

UPDATE November 28,  2005    We had a good Thanksgiving!  It was just mom, myself and my sister and her family.

Earlier this month, as a late birthday present for me, mom and I went to Los Angeles so that I could visit my friend Stefanie.  We had a good time!  We got to take a tour of Hollywood and spent an afternoon with Stefanie.

Also at the beginning of this month I joined 24-Hour Fitness, its a local (maybe national) gym/fitness center.  I have hired a personal trainer and am working towards a "New Me"!  Keep tuned for updates!

UPDATE October 14,  2005    Well today is  my Birthday!  Its been another good year and I am grateful for everything that I have.

UPDATE September 4-11,  2005    We'll I've now done something I have never done before!  My parents along with myself and my Grandma and Grandpa, my two Aunts along with their husbands, and my Uncle (for a total of 10 of us) went on a cruise up thru the Inside Passage of Alaska.  It was so beautiful, and we had an awesome time!

UPDATE July,  2005    It's been a good and somewhat uneventful summer!  We are all doing good, getting over being sick, but doing good.

Last Saturday, July 16, while at work dad was removing film from a window - his razor blade slipped and he cut his ring finger, all the way to the bone, thru the tendon.  On Tuesday he had surgery to reattach the tendon.  They are expecting a full recovery.

Although, while he was in the hospital he somehow caught a stomach virus.  He got real sick and then passed it on to mom.  Mom got sick and then I got sick and we had to end up calling an ambulance to come and get me on Thursday (7/21/05).  I had become extremely dehydrated and was becoming lethargic.  I was having trouble talking and everything - it was scary!  After one night in the hospital and lots of re-hydration, I am now feeling better and am ready for the rest of the summer!

UPDATE July 6-9,  2005    This month I had the privilege to help with my Church with their "Bible Day Camp" or as some people call it "Vacation Bible School".  It was such a honorable privilege to be able to be an influence upon the kids.  The Camp lasted 4 days from 9am till 2pm.  I was placed with a bunch of 3rd graders.  Man do those kids have energy or what!  They wore me ragged!  But it was an awesome time!
The other neat thing was that I was able to bring Bronwyn, my niece, to the camp as well!  She had a good time!
This is something that I look forward to doing again in the future!

UPDATE February 26,  2005    Tonight mom, dad and I had tickets to go see the Harlem Globe Trotters play.  We had an awesome time!  After the game I was able to get a couple of autographs and one of the players, Hilite, even gave me his wrist band that he had been wearing!  I had so much fun!

UPDATE January 28,  2005    This last week I have had my annual (yearly) checkup!  Its been a week full of Brain Scans and Dr. appointments galore!  But the final result was worth it all!
First of all, no sign of the tumor reoccurring!  Its been six years now since my last surgery - and its all looking good!
Second, there has been no significant change in my vision over the last year!
And finally, over the last year I have lost just about 30 pounds!  I am so excited!  I give all the glory to God!  He has helped me stay motivated to eat right, and get up of a morning and swim in my pool "spool"!

UPDATE December 31, 2004    Well the year is ending on a "good note".  I am feeling good, have had not major medical issues this last year and have just overall enjoyed the year!  I am looking forward to the New Year ahead of me!  I trust that the Lord will continue to take care of me!

UPDATE October, 2004    All is good!  This past summer, dad bought me a swimming pool!  Actually its called a "Spool".  Its a pool that generates it own current of water so that you can swim in place!  I am real excited, we just got it put in, and I am using it a lot!  Keep an eye out for pictures of me in it!

UPDATE August, 2004    Dad and I had the opportunity to go to California to our manufactures sites (of window film).  They have a big competition every year, "The Tint Off", and dad was asked to judge!  We had a good time!

Also while on our trip, I was finally able to meet a long time pen-pal, Stefanie.  We have been writing and talking on the phone for over 10 years!  We really hit it off and am looking forward to seeing her again soon!

UPDATE April 8, 2004    Life is definitely good!  I just got home from a trip back home to Oklahoma, where I grew up at.  I feel it was an opportunity of a lifetime!  I got to visit a lot of family.   Most of which are getting up in their years and their health is deteriorating.  I don't know if some of them will make it until next year when I go, so I took the opportunity to really get a good visit in with them!  Family has always been important to me, especially since my surgery!  This group of people really pulled together for me!  I definitely feel I would not be here today if it wasn't for them

UPDATE February 29, 2004    Well it has been a month since I've moved into the apartment attached to my parents house.  Things are working out really well, Infact better that I ever expected!  I am all unpacked and saving a lot of money!  I thank God every day for this opportunity!

UPDATE January 6, 2004    I just got home yesterday from visiting my sister Alexia her husband Jason and my beautiful niece Bronwyn in Florida.  This was my second year in a roll to go and spend New Years with them.  We had a wonderful time and it was difficult to leave.  The weather was beautiful, low to mid-80's.  Although I cam home to a temperature of 18 degrees and a lot of snow (I question my sanity sometimes).

UPDATE December 1, 2003    Not much is happening around here!  I had an awesome Thanksgiving.  It was just me and my parents, but we had a good time!  Of curse, I spent the day with them.  We had a nice turkey dinner and all overate!  That afternoon mom and I took a long walk.  It was very relaxing and a good way to end a wonderful day!
I am going to go and get my Christmas tree today.  Keep a lookout for pictures!

UPDATE November 25, 2003    My contacts have continued to give me headaches so I went back to the eye doctor.  The reason they are giving me headaches is because they are not the correct prescription for what I need to be wearing.  Their too strong!  She checked my vision and got the correct prescription, with my new lenses I can read everything on the 20/40 visual range, and got one letter correct on the 20/20 range!  I am so excited!
She said that one day I may even be able to drive, with a restricted license at first, but atleast I wouldn't have to take a taxi cab everywhere!
God is faithful to those who are faithful to Him!

UPDATE November 20, 2003    Well the contacts have definitely improved my vision.  With my glasses on, my vision is 20/80, with these contacts I can see 20/60 and almost 20/50.  They are causing me to have some headaches, they say its just part of getting used to wearing them.

UPDATE November 14, 2003    I went to the eye doctor a couple of weeks ago and the Dr. recommended me trying to wear contacts.  He said that contact lenses have come a long ways over the past several years and that they could get me into some soft disposable lenses.  The best part though is that they think it may improve my vision.  I got the lenses today, and will go back in a week for a checkup!

UPDATE November 8, 2003    I just returned home from Las Vegas.  Had a good time!  I flew out on the 11/5.  I was accompanied by mom and dad.  They went for an automotive convention, but my main intention was to celebrate my 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY of my original surgery.
It's weird to look back and the last 10 years and see how far I've come.  God has truly blessed me in everything I have done!
I'm still struggling with my weight. I have managed to slow down the weight gain, but am struggling to loose it. I tried Weight Watchers for awhile, it worked some, but just didn't seem right for me!
I'll keep you informed on what I'm doing and trying.
If you have any suggestions/tips that may help, I'm open to hearing them! Thanks, and God Bless Duggan

UPDATE March 1, 2003    Well nothing to complain about!  I'm feeling good, Infact feeling better than I have in a long time.  I am becoming a lot more active.  At the beginning of the year I joined Weight Watchers and have lost about 12 pounds since joining.  This sure helps with my self-esteem.

UPDATE January 2002: I had another CT Scan this month, all came out clean as a whistle! I also went to the eye doctor, and my vision has improved slightly. I'm feel real good!

UPDATE May 18, 2001 Not much new. I'm still feeling good, working hard and spending a lot of time with my friends. Well something new, I'm an Uncle now! I am so excited. In June I'm going to be moving. About 50 yards from where I'm at now! I'm moving into a two bedroom apartment. It will be a nice upgrade!

UPDATE November 14, 2000 it was time again for another CAT Scan, and once again everything was OK, the doctors were very pleased. They said I can wait 9-12 months before another Scan. We are going to try something new, the Open MRI.

UPDATE August 10, 2000 Well it has been a little over a year since I moved out on my own! I am really enjoying all the freedom, although it does get a little boaring at time! Currently I am working on getting a job with the Government, but in the mean time to pay my bills I am working for my parents.

UPDATE On June 13, 1999 I moved into my first apartment. I am really excited, It's nice to be on my own!

UPDATE On March 9, 1999 I went and had my 1 year checkup from the doctor. They ran a CAT Scan, the scan only lasted about 30 minutes, but after waiting hours for the result we got out news! I was given a clean bill of health! I can't believe how far I've come in the last year! It is so exciting!

UPDATE On March 5, 1998 I had another surgery. My tumor had come back! The attack plan for the surgery was: They first took several MRI Scans, from this they reconstructed my brain on a computer. They then proceeded to drill a hole down the side of my head, and from the reconstructed image of my brain they slowly proceeded down navigating themselves to the tumor. When they got to the tumor they planed to stick a tiny pump into it and inject a liquid for of Chemo. Although a slight problem occurred, the surgeon went too far and punctured through the other end of the tumor. This may sound bad, but I have just found out that because he did that, it has caused the tumor to collapse on itself. My doctors are watching it closely, but not too much to worry about!
